1 Peter 3:
3 Whose
adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of
wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which
is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in
the sight of God of great price.
It’s not the outward man that
the world see’s that makes us approved in the eyes of our Lord but the inner
man which no man can see. Only the Lord who knows the intimacy’s of our heart. Therefore
it is the transformation of one’s self to be set apart from the world rather
than to be conformed to what it deems acceptable. Romans 12:2
Manna for thought: God is not attracted
to your deeds but your heart. If your heart is for Him your deeds would be a
reflection.
Encouraging song of the day.
