Final cut

I would just like to first Thank God for allowing my wife and I to have been able to bring forth a Word inspired by Him to the people of God for so long. It has been a learning and developing experience for us and we pray for you all as well. We praise God for that.

With all that being said, Raeya and I have embarked on a new project which is our book “Thoughts inspired by God”. Which will be a series of the daily devotionals comprised together in a book format. We have already published our first book and is available on amazon.com for purchase.  All proceeds from each book purchased will go towards our ministry and the building of His Kingdom.
We are excited to see what God has in store for those who Love Him. Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. This may be the end of our daily email devotionals but just the beginning of so much more. We will still utilize the yahoo group to forward any additional information as well as keep you all informed on what's going on.

Thank you to everyone from Raeya and myself for all the support and encouragement. Please feel free to contact me for any questions, comments or concerns @gregbullock87@yahoo.com or (804) 898 -6096 . We love you and God bless.

Amen

Many times we hear a word from God from the man of God or woman of God and we say amen. But how many of us really know why we say amen?

So that you know for yourself and so that you don’t just say it because it sounds good or because it’s what everyone else says, I will attempt to break it down further. Amen refers to the faithfulness of God.  It means to be in agreements with His faithfulness.   Thus why we say amen.

Knowing that He is the God of truth and it endures forever Psalm 117:2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.  We also know that He is the same God Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for everSo understanding that Jehovah is faithful and in His faithfulness His truth is assured. We say can say amen to his Word, His will and His way. Which essentially means we are in agreements with His faithfulness, that it is so.  The word of God is the only thing that’s consistent, the only thing that will never change. So when His word is given or His promise issued we can rest assured that it is so and that it will be.

Grab and go: 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. So when we read that again we see that ALL the promises of God are “yes it will come to pass” and His faithfulness will make it so. No matter what God promised you it will come to pass. It has no other choice because He is faithful, Amen.

Training our children!!

For those who have children, I want to ask you to reflect for a moment. Reflect over the lives of our children.

How many can remember when they were babies and the only thing that nourished them was milk. They weren't equipped for anything else at the moment. But as time went on they began to eat from the table (just meaning they began to eat the things you ate), by you feeding them of course. Giving them with each spoon full, the portion that they could handle. As they progressed you began to cut up there food in preparation for them to eat on their own as they imitated what they saw from you as you ate, as well as remembering the manner in which you fed them.
As our children began to grow, we as parents began to give to them more portions of food. Portions in which they would have to cut up their own meat and distribute to themselves how much to eat at a time. As they got older they would began to prepare food for themselves ( fixing their own bowl of cereal) and doing so in the manner in which they felt they could handle.
I said all of this to say that the expectations that we have for our children must 1st start with us as parents. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. If we as parents continue to spoon feed our children when they are older then that’s what they will come accustomed to. Looking for you to provide for them, without feeling the need to do it for themselves. The same can be applied to their relationship with Christ. If that’s what we desire for them to have, then we must first introduce to them a relationship when there are young. By reading the Word of God to them, by praying over them and by bringing them in the fellowship of other believers.  Allowing them to experience Christ rather than to observe Him.

Grab and go: Some of us may have children that are older now (adults).I don’t want anyone to feel that they have lost their opportunity to share their relationship with Christ with their children. Although they may be older in age physically, spiritually they may still be babies. Start the way you would if they were infants in the flesh. Give them a little, and watch God do a lot.

Don't forget to look ;Psalm 121:1

Sometimes we can go through periods in our walk of faith where, things just seem very dry and bleak. Periods where we become tired and unsure of not what direction we should move in, but why?

In those times where we feel exhausted, and somewhat defeated satan will try to capitalize by kicking you when you’re down. he does so by trying to convince you that there is no point in going on. he wants to insert the thought of doubt and uncertainty to make you lose your zeal, your passion for God. Which he knows that your passion incorporated with Jesus Christ love can overcome all things.

But we are not without help. God knows the evil intent that satan has against us and he prepares a way to ensure our victory over our trial and tribulation. By this, He sends His ministering angels to encourage us, to lift us up and sometimes literally carry us over our hurdles. Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Ex. Have you ever encountered a stranger that gave you an encouraging Word that seem to speak directly to your situation, as if it came straight from God? Or how about encountered a stranger that helped you in the midst of your storm when no one else was around. I mean literally came from nowhere, helped you and you never saw them again. Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Sometimes we are completely unaware of the help or encouragement that was sent directly from Heaven on our behalf. But just because we may not understand or acknowledge where our help came from, it doesn't mean that it didn't come from God.

Grab and go: God knows that times will come when our faith will be tested and our strength will be depleted. But in those times He sends us what we are in need of. We forget just how strong we really are; because we overlook the fact that it’s not our strength that we should rely on but on His spirit. Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Let go of your past.

Galatians 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
Imagine a dead body.  Then imagine carrying that dead body around with you everywhere you went, having it with you in the car while you drove. Taking it with you to a friend’s house. Even taking it to church with you. Sounds pretty bizarre doesn't it? Well it’s no difference when we try to incorporate our old life into our new life. There is no room for that dead man, that old life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Lugging around a dead body all day will weigh you down. Being that the flesh is no longer alive it begins to rot and produce a foul smell as well. 2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:  This shows us how different the old man is in comparison to the new man. Simply put our old lives stink.

Grab and go: Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. We have to stop holding on to the things that’s attached to our old lives. Things such as people, material possession, and most importantly our own selves. You are not the same anymore. You are a new creature.  Therefore let go of your pass and walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Don't blame God!

There have been many people that I have witness to, who haven’t been to church in a while. All have their own reasons why. But what I found to be interesting is many of the reasons why they haven’t gone to church had nothing to do with God.
Too often “church” leaves a scar on the hearts of those who genuinely want to seek God. People come with the intent of filling that void in their life, yet leave because of how they were treated, or the pastor was having an affair, deacons stealing money and so on and so forth. Now don’t think I’m about to say that all churches are like that, because that’s not true. As well if the man of God (Pastor, minister etc.) is teaching or preaching directly from the Word of God and someone is offended, I say good. The Word of God is supposed to offend your carnal contrary lifestyle. But don’t let what man does; deter your relationship with Christ. They will be judge by the Father for their iniquity, but you as well. The excuse of “there were some hypocrites in the church” or” the pastor was crooked” is not going to hold up when you stand before God and He ask you why didn't you live for me? The pastor, the deacons, the church members can’t get you into heaven. So likewise you can’t blame them for you not developing a relationship with Him. God makes provisions for us to prosper and not fail. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
So just like the church that you went to may not have been Bible lead, God has made a way for you to still receive His Word, His Truth. It may be through your neighbor you never talk to. Or through that family member you don’t deal with too much since they change their life for God. Maybe that co-worker that you see earnestly praying or reading the scriptures every chance they get. However through whomever, (radio, TV, in person) you can’t deny that He has made a way for you to hear His word. It’s up to you to receive what you know is true.
Grab and go: Have you ever wonder why he allowed you to be where you were for so long? Perhaps He allowed you to see the deceit of man and the destruction of religion, so that you can teach the world to put their trust in God and not man, Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. So that you can tell the world religion tears down but a relationship with God builds up. 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Intercessors

There are times we believers lose our way. On top of being lost, we sometimes don’t want to admit to it. It’s important that we pray for one another for such a cause. Imagine being lost and in the dark, yet never doing anything to indicate where you are. No gps signal, no flares being sent up, just lost.
The same way you would put up missing posters and inquire to the police to find a missing person, is the way we should go to God consistently with our request to find our lost brothers and sisters. We should pray to the Father that He being omniscient (all knowing), show us how we should proceed in reaching those that are lost.
Have you ever tried to reach out to someone to help in some kind of way only to have your help or assistance thrown back in your face? God has to take the lead when reaching the lost. Love has to be 1st when search and rescue is attempted. If not, our deeds alone won’t amount to much.
To further understand what it is I’m saying read Genesis 18:23-33. Abraham interceded on the behalf of Lot (his nephew) and his family. Lot had no idea of the destruction that was about to happen to the city (Sodom), but because of the plea and request of Abraham God spared lot from the destruction.
Grab and go: Sometimes we can be so close to someone but so far from them at the same time (not understanding where they are). Let us continue to pray for another so that in dark times in each of our lives, when we may not have the strength to pray for ourselves, we can still rest assured that the prayers of the righteous our heard. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Glade plug- ins

2 Corinthians 2:15
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

To God the father, as believers, we are sweet smelling, a pleasing aroma, because of our reflection of Jesus Christ. Those that reflect Him are noticed wherever they go by the spiritual smell that we give off.
Have you ever unknowingly run into another Christian and smell the aroma of Christ before they said that they were believers? It’s a peaceful, pleasing, life giving scent, something about it you can’t describe. It’s comforting to other believer’s but to those that are still of the world it can be just the opposite.
Have you ever walked on your job and before you can get settled good your co-workers seems to already have a problem with you? Before you can speak or have a cup a coffee, they have an attitude being around you. Wonder why? I’ll explain in two folds. 1st looking past the person and seeing the spirits that they are dealing with and realizing that the demons don’t won’t to be cast out. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17. Which means wherever you go, because He is with you, you have dominion and authority to cast out the presence of evil and the demons know it. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the worldIf someone were to make me do something I didn't want to do I’d probably have an attitude to. 2nd Looking at the person, sometimes the attachment they have with that spirit (because of how long they have been dealing with the same thing) causes them to feel some kind of way about you because they are convicted in their own lives that they should resist the devil yet they don’t. So seeing you and how the spirit of God abides in you, is either a reminder or eye opener to the fact that they can be free as well but they choose to stay in bondage. Thus the discomfort being around you.

Grab and go: God hates sin, and I can only imagine how it smells to Him. We as His children born again under the blood of Jesus Christ, are like glade plug-ins, inserted all over the world. The place He has you in is for a purpose. The very reason He spares certain areas of people is because He has a plug-in there (you). Genesis 18:16-33 (proof that God would have spared Sodom if there would have been a plug- in there)
